Thank you Volkswagen! I love you!

It has been over a week since my last post.  I usually average 2-3 a week, but I don’t often have weeks like this one.  It’s been a complete roller coaster ride. This time of year I work with a friend, who’s an interior designer, decorating homes for the holidays.  We spent Monday and Tuesday at one of his client’s setting up and decorating 5 Christmas tree’s.  It’s a beautiful home and I always enjoy the process and especially the end result. Life and Facebook

After 9 months of blogging I think I’ve found my niche.  Is that like giving birth?  Seems like it.  Anyway… in the blog universe you are supposed to fit into a niche and I haven’t been able to figure out what the heck mine is, until now.  My niche is Life! A few years ago I received a gift from...

Potty Talk… deux

I’m re-running a post from earlier this year because I had an experience recently that reminded me of it.  We clearly need to be reminded. Years ago, when our first son was a baby, we went to the Bronx Zoo. It was a hot August day in NY. This was before zoo animals had ‘habitats’. Back then they just had a little outside space and long narrow inside cages. We have come a long way, thankfully! Anyway… it was feeding time for the tigers and everyone was gathering inside the cage area to watch. They had opened the spaces between...
