Something’s coming… it’s gonna be great!

Have you ever felt like you were on the verge of something exciting? An odd anticipation in your gut? Almost tingly… and not sure why? OK call me crazy, but I’ve been feeling this way to varying degrees for a while now.
I’ve been telling everyone for months that I’m the hardest working unemployed person they’ll ever meet. I haven’t gotten a pay check in a year and a half, unless you consider my whopping $77 unemployment check, which I am always grateful for! But something is happening. Something good. I can feel it.
I wrote in June about how sometimes what you need simply finds you when you need it. I’ve also been thinking about Marsha Sinetar’s book that I read many years ago, ‘Do What You Love, The Money Will Follow’.
I discovered, purely by accident really, that I love to write. I always knew I loved creating art in many forms, but never felt a passion for writing… until I started this blog. I had already published a children’s book, The Duffy Chronicles, Duffy Finds His Family, which was straight from my heart… or Duffy’s really. I enjoyed the process and began working on the 2nd book in the series 2 years ago. Didn’t make a lot of progress on it until I started this blog. I expect ‘The Duffy Chronicles, Stories from the Farm‘, will be ready for publication before the end of the year. (note… fingers crossed!)
You can order the 1st in the Duffy series from Amazon. Click the link on the right hand column. All profits go to PAWS!

I kept a journal in 2000 while my husband was in a coma battling lymphoma. I’ve been journaling for years, but this one was quite different. We’ve shared it with families that were going through what we’d been through and they were always so grateful. Well, it will be available right here on this blog very soon as a free eBook!
So even though I’ve been unemployed, I’ve been very productive! Have you ever had these intuitive feelings? How’d it work out? I’d love for you to share your story in the comments section.
side note…
I’ll be going to my first Blog Boot Camp this weekend that SITs is hosting just up the street from me. How nice it’s convenient! I’m sure it’s going to be fun and informative, as well as another nudge toward…? Stay tuned!

  3. Hi Barbara,
My computer was acting up yesterday as I was trying to come back and visit. You are the hardest working person and I send you love and light for abundance. Thanks for your inspired comment on my Freedom piece… Loved it.
